Commercial Strategy Development
• Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture them.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
Sales and Business Development
• Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, including new markets, customers, and service offerings.
• Ensure effective negotiation and closing of contracts and agreements with clients.
Marketing and Promotion
• Develop and execute marketing plans to promote the company’s logistics services.
• Oversee the creation of marketing materials, campaigns, and promotional activities.
Manage the company’s brand and ensure consistent messaging across all in person and online channels.
Customer Relationship Management
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and providing excellent service.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Address feedback reports from sales team.
• Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service delivery.
Team Leadership and Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team.
• Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide feedback and coaching.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure all commercial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify and manage all commercial risks, implementing measures to mitigate them.
Conduct regular audits of commercial processes and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualification/ Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
Minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in operations, marketing, financial analysis, or a related role within the logistics or transportation industry.
