Job Description

The Facilities and Administrative Supervisor will provide administrative, and facility related assistance to employees. In this role, you will identify, source sporting activities to make the company active. Handle key facility management services for business partners in the areas of building maintenance, housekeeping, physical security, front office, ground activities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Coordinate activities associated with service, space planning, ergonomics, housekeeping, sports event management, and security, including emergency procedures and protocols.
• Mentor and ensure housekeeping staff meet challenges related to the facility including hygiene and cleanliness, pest control, plumbing and facility repair.
• Orient visitors on company Values and Behaviours and ensure that all customers are aware of facility rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to arrange the logistics surrounding large company events or groups.
• Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Overseeing building maintenance and support services such as cleaning, catering, hospitality, security, or parking.
• Ensuring building and the company functions smoothly throughout their operational life.
• Liaising with clients and monitor feedback to make necessary improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Creating a strategic management system, for the benefit of an organisation’s infrastructure and people.
• Coordinating refurbishments and renovations.
• Ensuring buildings meet health and safety and energy efficiency standards.
• Managing budgets and accounts.
• Develop and implement a marketing and sales plan to attract corporate and private end-users.
• Develop and manage budgets for the facility while monitoring expenses to ensure that financial goals are met.
• Submit a weekly plan of activities at the company to the Governing Council.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related work experience

PRIOR BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCES
• Experience performing maintenance in a facility.
• Experience with vendor management.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and having to meet multiple deadlines.

REPORTING LINES
You shall report to the Local Steering Committee operationally and administratively to the governing council.
