To develop and implement Fixed Income sales/marketing strategies to a portfolio of clients; meet agreed
revenue, cost and other targets based on an intimate understanding of local market opportunities, customer
needs, competitors’ activities, and the Bank’s needs for domestic and foreign exchange funding and liquidity, in a
manner consistent with the bank’s overall business plan.
Grow the bank’s Fixed Income institutional and high net-worth client presence
Liaising and building long term relationships with clients by providing investment advice and market information to clients
Liaison with FI trading to facilitate the purchase and sale of Fixed Income products for clients
Responsible for the sales of Fixed Income products with a focus on government bonds, corporate bonds, Eurobonds, Repos
Promote the bank’s Fixed Income Offerings and platform to business partners and assist in informing all interested parties with relevant product or trade information
Vigilantly and continuously identify areas of improvement and investment requirements/products
Actively engage with clients to keep abreast with market and competitor activities
Develop new products and clients as appropriate
Work with external data sources to identify client opportunities
Lead internal client reviews
Review and report daily material client revenues from Sales and or Trading.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Must have a minimum qualification of 1st degree With at least four (4) years relevant working experience
Prior experience in financial and global markets
Must have an eye for details
Must possess excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Must have the ability to work independently and make sound judgments within established guidelines.
