Systems Accountant

Job Description

• Facilitate new implementations and support same
• Participate in ERP process governance processes and prepare position papers
• Assist in defining functional and integration scopes for company finance, Supply Chain and Project Management systems solutions
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
• Proactively identify and propose business process and or system enhancement
• Document functional designs, test cases and results
• Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements when necessary
• Provide data processing solutions and assist to resolve inconsistencies when necessary

Requirements
• CA/CPA qualified tax qualification
• Experience in use of system in accounting domain in Ghana or an in-house tax role in Ghana with a multinational organization in Ghana;
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position, including 5 years in Mining sector
• Fluent in English
• Experience with Systems Audit in the accounting domain
• Exposure to ERP system
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Team player skills
