Job Description
The job holder is responsible for overseeing Accounts payable, accounts receivable, Tax Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management accounting systems. Analyzing financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data; recommending actions
Responsibilities
Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.
Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Assist Management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.
Review the performances of competitors and report on key issues to management
Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement.
Participate in target costing activities to create products that meets predetermined price goals.
Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs and available funds for investment.
Interpret the company’s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
Engage in ongoing cost reduction analysis in all areas of the company
Oversee the operations of the treasury department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or any related field with a minimum of 7 years working experience as an Account Manager
Experience with a computer-based accounting system.
