BUSINESS ANALYST

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying business opportunities, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the agricultural commodities market.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the agricultural commodities market.
• Gather and analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain business intelligence tools and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to support data-driven decision-making.
• Create detailed reports and presentations for senior management to support strategic planning.
• Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities and partnerships.
• Monitor and report on market developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
• Assist in the development of business strategies and plans to achieve company objectives.
• Support the implementation of new business processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Actuarial science, Economics, Finance, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the agricultural commodities industry.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the agricultural commodities market and supply chain is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to speak French and English fluent
• Willingness to travel as needed.
