Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. The
Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the agricultural commodities market and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and target new business opportunities in the agricultural commodities market.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction both locally and within the neighboring African countries.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and terms of sale to maximize profitability and secure long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to management.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company’s offerings.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the agricultural commodities industry.
• Strong understanding of the agricultural commodities market and supply chain.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak French and English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
